FAQ

1. Can we get tuition credited for missed days, vacation, snow days, and holidays?
All of our tuition has already been prorated to exclude holidays. We do not offer reimbursement or make-up days for other missed school for any reason. 

2. Do I still need to pay tuition if I am planning for a longer vacation?
Yes. Even if you have plans to be gone for a whole month, you are still required to pay the full tuition as you are essentially reserving your spot at the school. There are many other children on the waiting list who are eager to be accepted and our staff's hours will not change due children's absences.

3. Are you a bilingual or immersion school?
We are an immersion based school so we speak Chinese throughout the day. However, we will observe the child's ability and communicate in Chinese and will use English to help with the translation process.   

4. Will you teach my child how to write Chinese?
Children five years or older will be introduced to very basic writing as well as verbal and communication skills. If you are interested in a more structured Chinese reading/writing class, please let us know as we have some teachers who are available for in-person tutoring. 

5. Do you take drop-in's?
No, we do not accept drop-in students.

6. Can I switch which days my child attends on a weekly basis?
Our classes and schedules are set for the entire school year. However, we will notify interested parents when days become available to switch on a basis to basis situation.
